John Pleasants is an accomplished digital media and technology executive — a rare leader who has demonstrated the ability to build, scale, and transform organizations across entertainment, gaming, mobile, health, and smart home sectors. 

John is Co-founder & Chairman of HomeBoost, which is an AI-powered home management and sustainability platform. He was the Co-founder & CEO of Brava Home, a next generation cooking solution company that combined revolutionary heating technology with a chef-powered AI service. Launched November 2018, acquired by the Middleby Corporation (NASDAQ: MIDD) November 2019.

John was EVP of Media Solutions at Samsung Electronics. Prior to this role, he was Co-President at Disney Interactive, where he led the group to its first ever divisional multi-quarter profitability and $1.3 billion in revenues. He was CEO of Playdom and led the sale to Disney for $563 million. Previously, he was President of Global Publishing & COO at Electronic Arts (EA). He oversaw global gaming operations of leading, $4 billion games publisher. Prior to this, he was CEO of Revolution Health Group, Steve Case's ambitious initiative to transform consumer healthcare through digital platforms. John served as CEO of Ticketmaster from 1999 to 2005, a tenure of six years during which he oversaw the company's transformation into the dominant online ticketing platform in the world. He received his B.A. in Political Science & Government from Yale and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
